Bugger

Was gutted to discover after my last ride what appears to be a significant cut in my rear tyre. I’ve only done about 250km on that tyre but should I:

A) chuck it out immediately
B) keep riding and wait for the inevitable flat, or
C) make some sort of repair.

If it’s C, what should I be doing with it?

  1. Ray Says:

Remove the tyre Nathan, put a patch on the inside – let it cure/set properly. Refit tyre to rim, inflate to 2/3 normal pressure and then fill cut with a rubber filler. Let it cure. Inflate to normal pressure. Use only as a training tyre. Check filler from time to time and replace as necessary. Cheers mate, Ray.
